Darrin Cashman, General Contractor
As General Contractor for Eco Concepts Construction, Darrin brings considerable expertise and leadership to his profession. Darrin has been involved in the building/construction industry for over 25 years. Darrin’s experience is invaluable in the budding field of green building, as he can evaluate new green products and building techniques, selecting and implementing the most reliable ones for the buildings that Eco Concepts Construction creates. Darrin has been licensed in the states of Connecticut, California, Georgia, Alabama and now in North Carolina. He was involved in residential and commercial building in the state of California, where earthquake and fire prevention techniques were among his specialties. His skill and creative innovations in masonry and development add to the signature appeal of the homes built by Eco Concepts Construction. Darrin’s extensive knowledge and background with building and development codes is critical to the success of Eco Concepts Construction projects.

KJ Laurro, Construction Manager
KJ Laurro has over 20 years experience in the overall management of construction in N.Y. and N.C. areas. She oversees and directs all construction needs by interacting with the developer, contractor and construction team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications. She relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. KJ leads and directs the work of others and successfully creates and manages the construction processes as the owner’s representative for high end developments. KJ experience includes managing the quality control of a construction company with an annualized volume of over $35M. She has educated construction teams of over 100 employees to learn how to build eco friendly and lessen their carbon footprint. She works diligently to create healthy, efficient and sustainable projects including single -family residential construction, land development, commercial and multifamily residential construction and Green Building Education for all parties involved.
